<p>SAT: 2310- CR 800 Writing 780 Math 730</p>

<p>Subject tests: 760 Math 2c, 720 Chem (will retake in November)</p>

<p>Gender: F, resident of California
Half Chinese half European ethnicity (I moved to the US when I was eleven...technically an immigrant, not a citizen)
Extremely competitive public high school, does not rank</p>

I've played violin for 13 yrs and piano for 10...it would be piano performance that I'm interested in minoring however.
A ton of orchestra/chamber music experience, won some prestigious competitions, played in masterclasses and festivals all over the U.S.
I will send in an art supplement of me playing piano
Most of my community services is aimed towards helping kids with their education...I co-founded a club to raise money for underfunded schools/kids at my school, read to underprivileged kids, tutor a lot, hold piano fundraising concerts for kids, etc....
Swimming for two years, Robotics team</p>

<p>I'm interested in majoring in engineering/psychology/chemistry, minoring in music performance</p>

<p>Statistically your a viable candidate at all these schools. However, all these schools have very low admittance rates (USC is the ‘easiest’ at 20%) so I’d treat them all as reaches. I assume you have some safety schools on your list.</p>

<p>You’re a low match for USC. Rice is also a low match like USC. Dartmouth and Vandy should be considered reaches by even the most viable candidates.

<p>I think your stats are good but I hope you can convey some passion in you essays because your extra curricula’s only show one side of you, but would be interesting if you could show what you have learned from all of these experiences.</p>

<p>my essays should be good, I think they convey a lot about me and my passions, goals, etc…I was also thinking of applying to NYU, Harvey Mudd, and Pomona College as well,
with Bucknell and Case Western as my safties</p>
