and applying to USC for engineering

my frosh-junior GPA is 3.588 unweighted. 3.88 weighted
I have a 2140 in SAT I math 780 cr 630 writing 730</p>

<p>Based on the most recent official reported data your GPA is low for admitted students while your SATs are about average. Viterbi Engineering is thought to have higher statistics than the average admit. In your favor are your Math SAT & SAT II scores (Note that USC does not require SAT II scores though I’d certainly send yours). Working against you is your UW GPA. With a projected 18.5% admit rate last year I think you need to view USC as a bit of a reach.</p>

<p>your gpa is a little low, but your SAT seems right on target. I would say apply since I know people with worse stats going to better schools. The worst that can happen is you don’t get in, so go for it!</p>
