Hello! I’m just another high school senior anxiously waiting for decisions. This being said, chance me for UT Austin? I am a Texas resident. I’ve been worrying about my rank the most, because after being in the top 7% all of high school, I dropped to 7.9% after junior year. I’ve heard some grim results from the years past regarding applicants just outside auto admit…but I am hopeful!

Essays: My essay (topic A) was a solid piece of work. 9/10. I definitely tried to bring in topics that admissions officers WOULDN’T find anywhere else on my app. Short answers as well.

I qualify as first generation to go to college (my parents did not finish)
Second generation and bilingual (parents are Polish immigrants. I know that at least half of UT applicants are probably gen2 but…)
