Essays/LORs
I have a passion for film/media production. I feel my essays are quite strong. For the “Tell us your story” essay, I wrote about my identity as a trans man and how my experiences and struggles surrounding that identity have shaped me. I also wrote short answers about how much my intended major means to me and how learning about the RTF program that I am applying to has made me feel excited about the prospective future. I wrote the short answer about leadership experience about leading my band and how I am able to learn and make difference in others’ lives through my music and traveling with it. Lastly, I wrote the short answer regarding making an impact and shaping the world about opportunities at UT and around Austin that I plan to participate in and grow from such as college radio, South By Southwest, and Austin City Limits.
