Chance me UVA! Cavaliers baby!

<p>I'm an in-state Virginia resident seeking your opinions on if I can get into UVA. I'll be applying this fall.</p>

<p>SAT: 1970/2400, 1290/1600 (first try, no studying. will study and retake in october)
UW GPA: 3.82/4
W GPA: 4.35/5</p>

<p>AP Courses by end of high school: Chemistry, Euro History, US History, Language and Comp, Literature, US Government (school only offers about 8 AP courses total, so I took 6 of them since I don't like music theory)</p>

<p>All other non-AP courses were honors since the beginning of freshman year.</p>

<p>EC's include:
-Physics peer tutor
-National Honors Society
-National French Honors Society
-Article writer for global online video game organization
-co-manager of another online organization
-black belt in martial arts
-co captain on school's Georgetown University History Bowl team
-co founder of school's quiz bowl team
-chess club</p>

<p>do/make/participate in something spectacular, write an amazing essay (tips on how if you want, steps i wish i had followed), develop some good relationships with teachers for your recs, and it may be helpful to try your hand at a couple SAT II tests</p>

<p>as an in state, you look to be in good shape</p>

<p>Yeah, I plan on taking a couple SAT II tests in the fall. I already have an amazing relationship with my AP history teacher, so I know I’ll be able to get a good recommendation.</p>
