I am a rising senior applying to the schools above and was wondering if I could know my chances for each school:
GPA: 4.24 W (end of Junior Year) 4.56 W (1st semester Senior Year)

ACT: 30C; 11 on writing

Rank: 5 / 540

Awards: Youth Salute, Best student of the year in a few classes, IB Diploma Candidate other minor stuff

IE.C: Captain of boys ultimate Frisbee team, Captain of boys JV lacrosse, Varsity Boy’s Lacrosse, VP of Key Club, Treasure of Debate Club, Secretary of NHS and Chem Club, Historian for international club, chess club, SADD club, FBLA, and environmental friendly club. Volunteer year round at Retirement home, Hospital and Mosque.

Jobs/internships: Shadowed a doctor and a private tutor for Math and Chemistry

This is the main stuff that I can think of… I’m taking the most rigorous courses available at my school…will ED help with Duke?

ACT is a bit low, but the rest looks pretty good! I agree that ED to Duke will definitely help as long as you show why it’s the best fit for you!

Would it be smarted to ED JHU instead of Duke as they have a higher admission rate or… ?

ED will help at both schools. JHU is less selective overall but I think that Duke actually gives ED applicants a more significant boost.
