Chance me! Uva & Vtech

I am a rising senior. I have a 3.96 weighted gpa (3.46 uw) , at the end of this year I had 5 ap classes, and I am signed up for 4 more and a dual enrollment (multivariable) next year. I have a sat score of 660 critical reading, 760 math, and 730 writing (2150). Critical reading should go up to about 700 and I'm taking subject tests. Eagle Scout. 3 years Varsity football. 2 years varsity lacrosse and track. Nhs member. Ask for more specifics if you want. And say why you think what you think please. Thnx in advance

Come one, come all. I am pretty confident about Vtech, but I’m stressing over uva

I think based on your GPA and SAT score, VTech is a low-mid match and UVA is a low reach. It’s just that your UW GPA is far lower than a lot of UVA applicants; do you attend a very strong, competitive school, or do you just have an extremely rigorous course load, or what?

Also, what is the weighted GPA out of? 4.5? 5.0?

Out of 5. I know it is very low. And yes I go to a competitive Nova public high school (not TJ :’() And I have taken computer science, but calc, ap history, 11 years of french culminating in ap French (that wasn’t so fun). Mostly I just don’t apply myself that well (or so I’m told). But I don’t agree with that because I think my courses have been very challenging.

Do you suggest any other Virginia schools? (Not William and Mary) just causecause.

I believe you will get into UVA. Though your GPA is slightly low, you make up for it with a strong SAT. It would be a low reach if out of state but since you live in VA it’s a match-high match.
