Washington and UIUC should always be considered reaches for direct admission to the CS major.

Can you and your parents afford the out-of-state costs? Why not UCs and CSUs?

Did you already apply to Ohio State? Merit deadline was 11/1.

Try to get the application to Ohio State in by midnight today if you can, if not there should still be some merit aid opportunities. Definitely don’t wait until the last minute though. The closer to Nov. 1 if not in today, the better.

http://undergrad.osu.edu/apply/freshmen-columbus/apply-step-by-step

"We must receive your complete application (by that we mean your admission application and all required materials) by midnight (EST) on November 1 if you wish to be considered for most university merit scholarships (larger awards require additional steps). While not required, we strongly recommend meeting the November 1 deadline if you wish to be considered for:

The Morrill Scholarship Program

Honors and Scholars Programs

Majors within the College of Engineering

By meeting the early action deadline, you’ll get an admission decision no later than mid-January."

Good Luck!

Thanks for the help so far everyone, I am fortunate enough to be able to afford the out of state costs. on top of this list I am applying to UC and CSU’s. The list above was all my EA schools so my Ohio State app was in before Nov 1.

Here’s what I think. It’s going to be very simple to get into UW Madison and Purdue. If you haven’t already done so, you should have applied to Purdue’s Honors College. UIUC is a ridiculously hard computer science school to be accepted to, so you may not get in. Ohio State is very probable, but as per what you’ve said, Northeastern is not an option. Your GPA overall is rather low which can reduce your chances of admissions.
Good luck!

UW, UW-Madison, Purdue, UIUC, Ohio State, Northeastern

Good likelihood at Ohio State, followed by Purdue. Northeastern seems out of reach. UW, UW-Madison and UIUC are hard to call. As mentioned by others here, CS is the most popular discipline at UW and UIUC.
How many APs had you completed in Junior year, and what did you get on the AP exams?
