chance me! waiting for EA decisions and im super nervous

i believe that UMDCP is a pretty high reach for me but please give me a quick opinion on what you think my chances are!
applying for biology
GPA (Weighted): 3.55 (very low...i know but it was mostly because of a C i got during freshman year during a chinese course)hopefully they take the time to look at the gpa of my science courses!!
SAT: 2110/2400 superscore. 1420/1600 (760/m and 660/CR)
690 Bio SAT 2
720 math level 2
taking/took 5 APs. AP STAT, english lang, bio, english lit, econ
(4s on my AP stat and lang) and took a lot of honors courses
I got all As on my bio course during freshman year and sent in a 90 quarter grade for AP bio(since im taking it senior year) i got a 92 on my midterm but they wont be seeing that in time :/
solid ECs, nothing super eye catching though
PSAT national merit semifinalist (216)
and im out of state (PA) which i know doesnt help ):

do you think ill at least get a spring admit?

you can get in ANYWHERE you want with those SAT scores

namesss,
thanks for saying that…i wish it were true but unfortunately its not, my GPA drags me down a lot

wow. great sat scores but red flag on gpa.

not really sure on your chances; and certainly not qualified to give an opinion. for all the folks who ask for chances i think a large part of the process is the quality of the application which no one on this board knows. were your essays and short answers well written/proofed - perfect? it seems to me there are a lot of folks ‘on the fence’ with a red flag or two - and my personal opinion is the quality of the application will matter for the fence sitters. i know my son’s red flag is his sat scores; but for him everything else good - GPA/RANK/ACTIVITIES/LEADERSHIP/APs/Recos etc but we worry as well due the SAT. But, he can rest assured the application itself was exceptional and tried/true several proof reads - so it’s in the hands of Testudo.

national merit seimfinalist is impressive - but 3.55 weighted with that raises questions. I wish i could i provide educated opinion but really can not. unfortunately, that’s where we all are i think. good luck.

accepted!! to scholars too!
