Chance me: Wharton 2016

Rising Senior going to be applying to a plethora of schools this fall. Penn looks like my #1, may do ED, not sure

Major: Finance/Accounting.
Goal: Wharton School

Ethnicity: White

GPA: 3.92 UW
Rank: 26/380ish (School doesn't weight at all, number skewed by the people with 4.0's and all gym classes)
ACT: 33 (35 Superscored)
AP: Calc BC (Soph got a 5) Stats, MicroEcon, Government (Junior, 4,4,5 respectively) Physics (Senior)

Dual Enrollment at University: Macroeconomics (Junior 4.0) Calc 3/4 and Bus Stats (Senior)

Clubs: NHS(Member) Students Giving Back (Member) National Technical Honor Society (President) Business Professionals of America (Officer, this is like FBLA, Was captain of financial analyst team that won 3rd in nation my junior year, Plethora of other awards)

Other Extra-Curricular: Stock trading, Lacrosse, Golf, in process of starting small at home business

*Took calc as Sophmore did very well ( Someone said Wharton likes the math backround?)
*Getting Letters from a double legacy (Great Uncle) and a massachusetts rep (Family friend)
*Have a Plethora of awards from BPA, some in speaking others in finance, Hoping that the third in the nation will be a compelling story
* White male from public school in michigan (Not a lot of people in my school apply to Penn, can only think of maybe 3 or 4 this year that will)

Sorry if I got wordy and don't ******** me, dont mind some honesty!

Also let me know if there is anything I can do besides writing some good essays to strengthen my app.

AP scores should help a lot. Public school, well if you get into Penn, you won’t find many from public schools there!

Your class rank is kinda low - mine was lower (years ago), but I had several varsity sports letters, high SAT scores, and applied to a different school at Penn. As for other people taking other classes and getting higher grades, Penn definitely (according to admissions folks) takes into account if your courseload is difficult, even if your school is not weighting honors and AP classes as much as other schools.
