Wharton Early Decission

Thanks

Hi, so you’re SATs are fine, although for wharton, it wouldnt hurt if they were a touch higher. Your extracurriculars are pretty good. Nothing jumps out as incredible, but youre running and debate activities are certainly impressive. Also, its definetly helpful that you applying early, as im sure you know. However without knowing your GPA, general course load, and class rank it is nearly impossible for me to give you an accurate prediction of your chance. For now, Id say youve got a 50/50 chance. Best of luck!

Chance Back?

Low reach. You have a lot of things going in your favor: background, awards, EC’s. But ivies are just hard to pinpoint. You think you have everything that they could want and BAM they are looking from something else. Good luck (:

I would hesitate to classify you as an underrepresented minority. Your SAT is okay but could do with some work as Mike said (simply because it is Wharton) to be more competitive. Your ECs are great and you show a great dedication to debate/MUN/leadership which is awesome for Wharton! The issue is that Ivys are basically impossible to predict; you’re a low to middle reach like most applicants. Definitely competitive. I’d just say sit back and wait, there’s no use worrying about it now.

I’m applying ED to Wharton as well! Good luck!

You’re considered white so no URM.

Stats and leadership seem fine but being an international will hurt.

You look pretty solid. Impressive extracurriculars. Good luck for Monday!
