<p>Everything else:
-College Classes: Economics, American Government, Media, Pre-Calc, Psychology, Intro to Poly Sci, got an A in every class.</p>

<p>-Journalism - 2 years, Editor in Chief, Managing Editor (have to drop out senior year because of a schedule conflict :-()</p>

<p>-Japanese Club - 4 years</p>

<p>-School trip to Japan</p>

<p>-Model UN - 3 years, VP </p>

<p>-Will be doing yearbook senior year</p>

<p>-Community service - ~100+ hours for various walks, community events</p>

<p>-My APUSH teacher (Model UN leader) and Japanese teacher are going to write my recommendations. They both love me. </p>

<p>*My school is based on the theme of International Studies (it's in the name of the school, actually) and it focuses on making us "globally aware" etc.</p>

<p>You seem like a strong applicant for all of these schools, though Georgetown may be a bit of a reach. Nothing personal, but even for the strongest applicants, Georgetown’s a reach, it’s just a competitive school. With GWU and American just make sure that your app doesn’t come across as if you’re just applying there in case you don’t get into Georgetown. Make sure you write excellent essays, obviously. Good luck!</p>

<p>I spent a few days really investigating GWU’s website and it is definitely a strong candidate for me. American is still more of a backup that I would rather not have to resort to, though if I got in to the Global Scholars Program that might change. The only problem is the selection of language courses there is WEAK.</p>
