chance me WILL CHANCE BACK ASAP

Hi everyone! I was recently deferred from Columbia ED But, I applied to several schools over the past few months and the wait is really starting to kill me. Based off of your past experiences, what would you say my chances are for admissions at Colgate University, The College of William and Mary, UNC Chapel Hill, University of Notre Dame, UVA, Vanderbilt University, Vassar College, Duke University and Georgetown University? Thanks will chance back ASAP! Also, I live in NJ

Hey, your ECs are cool, especially with the Historical Society position. I think Georgetown, Duke, and Vandy are low reaches and the rest are high matches. You definitely have aa good shot. Chance me back?

I can only comment on ND and W&M, as my daughter applied to and was admitted to both last year. Your M component is below the 25th percentile for both schools. While this might not be a dealbreaker, it certainly doesn’t help. Being OOS for W&M (UNC as well) will hurt your chances. That being said, neither I nor anyone else can really predict what your outcome will be. Best of luck!

Georgetown: high match
duke low reach
vanderbilt high match/low reach
everything else are matches

Colgate, The College of William and Mary: medium chance
UNC chapel hill: medium chance
University of Notre dame: medium chance
UVA,:high chance
Vanderbilt, Vassar: okish change (better chance at Vassar if you’re male)
Duke: low chance
Georgetown: low chance
