Chance me, will chance back?

I'm a junior in high school,in Georgia, and i am afraid i might not going to get into my preferred colleges. I have a 3.6 GPA and by the end of this year it will be 3.7-.8. My ACT score is a 24, but super-scored is a 25. I'm going to take it one more time as a senior. I know I can make a higher score. Next year I will also be doing dual enrollment. I am a intern at a computer analyst position for my local government. I also may get a job at GA powers. I won gold in Skills U.S.A. regional computer maintenance contest and i'm going to state. I have accumulated some community service hours. I know weak EC'S. These are the colleges i want to be chanced for:
UGA
Ga Tech(reach)
Mercer University
Southern Poly
FSU
University of Florida
Also if there are other colleges that I fit the criteria for please tell me. Lastly if I should apply for Early Actions for these colleges. Please I really want honest opinions and suggestions.

bump come on someone please reply

I am not a veteran chancer but I think a tad bit of luck can get you to your colleges. The job should really help and the state-level competition also but you really gotta raise your ACT scores. From what I have heard, applicants are filtered by their ACT scores before the rest of the application is even considered so yes, you should do well if you raise up your ACTs.

I am an international sophomore. Chance me back at:

Thanks for the input and …anyone else?

…anyone? bump

come on bump

If you can bump up your ACT scores by a few points you should have a good chance. If you hit 30, go with EA for sure, otherwise its probably safer to wait for RD. Your EC’s tie in with a Comp Sci major, so I assume you’re trying for that? Best of luck! :)

Thanks for the input and yes right now my major of choice is Computer Science.

I seen people get into UF with 1800 or 3.4 GPA so as long as you bring up for ACT i don’t think you have to worry. FSU you are in pretty much. Like you said it, GTech is the hardest one in your list to get into but you may get in, just put everything into your essay. Chance me back :)

Thanks and I am going to try to raise my ACT to at least a 27.

bump bump^^^^^^^^

anyone else? bump

Definitely take it again and aim for a 27! Also, have you considered taking the SAT? You should try it - personally I find that it’s easier than the ACT.

Weak EC’s? Ehh. Just join some clubs, maybe become and officer and they’ll be decent.

I think you have a shot at Southern Poly, FSU, and UGA, but I’m rather new to this so yeah.

Please chance me bacK!

Thanks and I am going to take the SAT in a few months. I hope I can do better on it.

Yeah, that ACT is holding you back right now. Go for the SAT-- my advice for the SAT is just to learn grammar. That will definitely help you out, as Writing Skills is about a fourth of the SAT (taking into account the fact that schools discount it compared to Math and CR).

Yepp. Only ACT keeping you down. Chance back?
