You have a great shot at all of these schools, to be honest. Your stats are fabulous. Your hooks will probably be your stellar math aptitude (college classes taken in high school look AMAZING), extensive and diverse extracurriculars, and all your APs (HOW did you do that?!).

NYU, Stanford (esp. because it’s so math-focused), and Northwestern are pretty much guaranteed admissions for you. Cornell is as well, and having a family member on faculty there will help a ton (make sure the admissions office knows this- have him talk to them for you).

U Chicago, Yale, Harvard, and U Penn will be slightly harder for you. However,I wouldn’t be surprised if you got into ~half of these. Everyone applying has amazing stats/extracurriculars like you, but you definitely have a shot… it all just depends on what type of kids they need for their incoming class.

GOOD LUCK in this process! You will do great things, and succeed wherever you end up at!

Your ACT score is certainly going to get you in the door, but your unweighted GPA might weigh you down–unless your school has a history of grade deflation. If you are female, colleges will like that you are excelling so much in math and trumpet, which are traditionally male fields. If you are interested in engineering, this could help further. You seem to be into music, so make sure to get enough accolades by application time to appear state or nationally superior. Your participation in sports will help a lot, especially at a place like Stanford. If you manage it right, you will certainly have a good shot wherever you apply, even Ivies. Only thing that doesn’t make me say great is your unweighted GPA, but the context of your school can change that.

NYU is a definite
Cornell is a definite
Northwestern is definite
pretty good chance at UPENN
Although Harvard and Yale are a shot in the dark I would say you have a pretty good chance if you say you are going to continue some of those extracurriculars in college.
you have a really good shot at U Chicago although my college counselor said they don’t like Bs, whatever that means.

You seem like a really good candidate for all of the schools you listed.
The amount of A.P tests and your ECs are truly impressive

Amazing transcript, for sure. The amount of APs you’ve taken/are planning to take is staggering, and your scores on the exams are wonderful! I commend you on your ACT, too; nice job!! I agree with Conor19 in that, if you keep this up, you’ll be guaranteed NYU, Northwestern, almost definite UChicago, and although I don’t know a ton about it, probably Cornell. UPenn is definitely a low reach/high match. Don’t really want to say much about HYPS because you never really know, but you’ve got an awesome shot! Aside from keeping up the great work, I don’t think there’s much you can do in the way of improving your application. Although your GPA could be a little higher for those schools, I wouldn’t worry too much about it because, should you maintain those grades, it’ll go up by the time you’re ready to apply. I’m only a high school senior, but I hope the advice I can give is useful - ensure you get a great grade in your college math class(es), as colleges will love to see that; the breadth of your ECs is awesome, but make certain that you maintain the depth; keep volunteering often (doing something meaningful, of course); and structure your ECs so that they convey a clear focus, which shouldn’t be difficult if you just keep doing what you love. I’d say try really hard to be truly outstanding in one or two of those things; make sure that whoever’s reading about that activity has no other response than “wow.” Honing in on music and a project/internship that showcases your talents and ambitions is great, IMO. Good luck!

Oh my god why are you even here? 19 APs?! You’re strong in every category (Grades, SAT, class rigor, ECs). If you don’t get into those schools, I don’t know of any other applicant who could. You’re definitely in at NYU, Cornell, NW, and you have very excellent chances at the top Ivies and Stanford. Being a female and excelling in math and science will be a hook for you, as if you need one Come senior year, you’ll probably have a really nice selection to choose from, but that doesn’t mean that you should forget some obvious safeties that you love as well. Good luck!

Really awesome chances at NYU and great chances at the rest. Your ACT is amazing but ur UW GPA might be a problem. Another issue is I really don’t see a cohesiveness in your ECs. What do you want to do in college?

You have a good shot at getting into any of them. Your GPA looks great, your ACT score is excellent, and your ECs are excellent as well. The Ivies may be a little tougher only because they’re Ivies and they’re extremely competitive.

University of Chicago- match
NYU- safety
Northwestern- match
Yale- low reach(reachable)
Harvard- reach
UPenn - high match
Stanford - high match
Cornell- match

Harvard is also reachable. honestly you could get into all of these schools, but im just saying reach for harvard and yale because you just never know with those two. I honestly think you could get into the two though. Good Luck

I wouldn’t stress about not getting into any of these schools. Id say you’ll get into all without a problem except yale and harvard. because they have a bunch of kids like you applying. but resume is great, and great job on your test scores! chance back please
