<p>That being said, you’re extremely solid. I also need to add that you have a very compelling story, and struggling your freshman year and pulling it up kinda adds to your story in a weird/awesome way. You also do a lot of cool things, and they strike me as pretty impressive. </p>
<p>For the non-ivies on your list, I think all fall into matches/safeties, high matches at the most.</p>
<p>As for the ivies, they’re always a craphsoot. Getting accepted to all of them probably isn’t going to happen. However, I’d honestly be pretty surprised if all of them rejected you. You have an application that I can see at least one of these schools taking note of and accepting. Just make sure your essays are killer!</p>

<p>Good ecs and stats. GPa seems kind of low but if its a strong school that might make up for it. Lucky that you have a counselor who can pull strings. Just a suggestion- don’t make your essay extremely emotional. You clearly have a lot of options to write about so take one and expand on it. Honestly I think you’re golden. <p>While your gpa(through junior year counting only second sophomore year) is a little bit low, your story is very compelling. You are definitely competitive at the ivy’s on your list, but because their acceptance rates are so low, you can’t assume an acceptance at any of them. But because you’re applying to multiple, I think you have a good chance at getting into at least a couple. I’d say that Georgetown is a match, and everything else is low reach/safety</p>
<p>You have a marvelous chance at any of those schools, even though they can be hard for everyone; but for sure Emory and Penn State. You definitely have some characteristics that will make you stand out. Nice test scores also. Good luck with everything. </p>

<p>Your ECs and hook are all outstanding. underclassmen GPA is low, but if you explain your situation in your essay I think that’ll give you a lot of points. UMich and USC are safeties, Georgetown, Emory, Brown, and Penn matches. I think you have a good chance for the top Ivies too.</p>

Questbridge selects about 50% of applicants as finalist, but the match process is COMPETITIVE.
