<p>I attend a public high school in upstate NY. It's known to be pretty tough. </p>

<p>I have a 3.3 gpa (UW) </p>

<p>I have taken 5 APs (three 4's and two 3's) so far and will be taking 4 next year. </p>

<p>SAT: 2260 M 710 CR 750 W 800</p>

<p>SAT II: US History 710 .... will take more in Oct</p>

<p>ECs (outlined)
-varsity crew captain
-lots of experience in music (piano, music theory, music history at local conservatory)
-2 leadership positions in school related clubs (anti-bullying)
-over 150 hours of volunteering
-spent 3 weeks in Nicaragua volunteering
-church youth group
-class treasurer </p>

<p>Some colleges I'm interested in (I FULLY realize that many of these are outright crazy)
-UPenn ED
-...or Cornell ED
(I know you can only ED to one school, I just don't know which one yet)
-Boston College
-Georgetown
-Tufts
-NYU
-UMich Ann Arbor </p>

<p>Unfortunately, you’re GPA is really gonna weigh you down, even with your great standardized testing.</p>

<p>You may get into one of those schools, but I think your GPA is just a little too low. Best of luck though!</p>

<p>I’d apply cornell ED and NYU ED2. I think with ED you could be a match for NYU (if you have $$$$$)</p>

<p>I’m not sure if I’m in the top 10% because my school doesn’t do class rank, valedictorian, percentage, etc. But thank you for your response! </p>
