rank: 2nd out of 426</p>

<p>SAT- CR-530, Math-780, Writing-600 total (1910)</p>

<p>TOEFL-89 (poor I think )</p>

<p>Extracurricular Activities : I did some voluntary works (More than 120 hr)
I worked for an NGO in rural underprivileged area
I am president of Debate , science , Nature club,
Organizing secretary of language club
Now I am working with Dreamcaster Foundation as a counselor of underprivileged schools.
I am private tutor of a kid who is in 8th grade</p>

<p>Honors and Achievements: I think my honors and achievements are not so bad. I got some High school distinction award and Student of the year for 2 years.</p>

<p>Personal Statement and Recommendations are good I think.</p>

<p>** I NEED AT LEAST 80 % TUITION SCHOLARSHIP AS MY FAMILY IS NOT ABLE TO FINANCE MY STUDY **- Please keep that in mind</p>

<p>I think you ought to look at some schools such as South Dakota School of Mines or New Mexico Tech. Very cheap options for studying in the States. What do you want to study?
For a scholarship directly from the school you’re going to need to raise your SAT. I’d recommend trying the ACT, if available there.

<p>I know Alabama gives extremely good scholarships and it’s not that hard to get into. However I think the highest they go is 75%</p>

<p>If you can raise your SAT and TOEFL scores, you will definitely get into many of these schools, depending on how good your essays are. Colgate is pretty generous with aid.</p>

<p>As everyone else has said you need to raise your test scores. I would also add a few financial safeties… best of luck!</p>
