WILL CHANCE BACK

Cornell: low reach, maybe match but ivies are random
UC Berkely: match, low reach
UCLA: match
UNC: almost guaranteed admission
UF: YOU WILL GET IN :D

Also, I suggest you look at UPenn! Chance me??

Cornell is a mid reach.
UCB and UCLA are certainly possible, but I’d suggest maybe getting scores a LITTLE higher? You don’t even have to go up a whole composite score on the ACT. Right now, you have to round UP to get to 32. Score so that you can round down and still have a 32. Hey, maybe you’ll get a 33! I got a 32 on my first try and ended up with a 34 (I got into both).
UNC is a low reach-- OOS is tough.
You’ll probably get into UF.

If you’re into Chem, look at these schools:

University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign
UMich
University of Texas @ Austin
U Wisconsin- Madison

Best of luck! I just finished the college admissions process, so if you need any help, don’t hesitate to message me!

@noel597 Thank you for your advice!! It is much appreciated. Yes, I am taking the ACT again and I am certain that I will improve. I’ll be ask sure to message you with any questions I have… Thank you!!!

Above is a link to US News’ rankings for grad school chem programs, I know you’re undergrad but it is still a good indicator of department strength. You may want to retool your choices and add some schools, 8 is a good number.

With your credentials these schools would be in your leave-
Northwestern
UChicago
UMich
Columbia
Texas A&M

Cornell - high match/low reach (try ed it if u really like it that would help alot for your chances)
UC Berkeley - match if you live in Cali, high match if you don’t (still easier than Cornell)
UCLA - match
UNC - low match
University of Florida - safety

I think UFlorida should be a safety, the rest are all basically matches for you except Cornell. Honestly I think you have a great shot at Cornell but since it’s an Ivy it’s still a reach.

Advice: if you can, I would recommend that you take more SAT II’s–I know for sure that Cornell, specifically, wants you to take Math 2. Not required, but I’ve heard they’re MUCH more likely to accept you if you take the Math 2 SAT II, assuming you can do well on it. that’s the main thing you would need to do now to improve, everything else seems great!

I do not think University of Florida is a safety. It consistently has an acceptance rate below 40%, making it definitely a match but I don’t think I would choose it as a safety if I was him/her.
