<p>Class of 2016 at a public high school in Maryland with around 900 kids. Looking into schools like UVM, UNH, Ithaca, Syracuse, James Madison, & George Mason. Top quarter of my class.</p>

<p>UVM is my dream school. </p>

Planning on taking the SAT in April, but on my PSAT i got like a 1700.

<p>You should take the ACT and SAT asap to get a baseline, so you know what you need to study for them. Don’t find yourself scrambling in the fall of senior year. Some AP bio or Chem in there would also be good. What does GT stand for? </p>

<p>@ZBD5421 GT is gifted and talented. i’m like 60% positive that public schools on the northeastern shore use it but im not exactly sure. My school goes from highest to lowest with being: AP, GT, HON, Standard. & i recently just took my PSAT again on wednesday, so we’ll see then. I’m currently studying with a professor twice a week for an hour and a half each for the SAT so i hope i’ll do well haha. And yes next year i’m planning on AP Bio or AP Chem i’m not exactly sure yet i didn’t want to take it my junior year because its a double period and i couldn’t handle that with the other courses i’m taking this year. thanks!!!
do you think with the credentials that i have already i’m on the right path for some of these schools?</p>
