Chance me?!? (will chance back)

Hello everyone! Here are my stats, I’m a current junior and I’m thinking about applying Early Decision to Dickinson College in PA, but I’m not sure if I should. The other schools I would apply to (if I got rejected) are Gettysburg, Franklin and Marshall, University of Richmond, and JMU. You can chance me for those too, but I really want your opinion for Dickinson!

I think I’ll have a great rec letter from my Spanish teacher, who knows me really well and who I will be a TA for next year. I think for my essay I’m going to write about how my spanish class this year really influenced me and my life’s goals.

I plan on double majoring in Spanish and International Studies, probably to become a Spanish Teacher.

i think you could get into Dickinson, your test scores fall in the middle 50% and the ED acceptance rate is pretty high, im also looking into Richmond which i think is possible for you as well and JMU is a match

I think you have a really good shot of getting into Dickinson; the only thing that could hold you back in my opinion are your standardized test scores. If I were you, I would apply early decision and hope for the best. Chance me back if you don’t mind

@zorloth, Dickinson is test optional, so, if I don’t do so well on the ACT this weekend, do you think I should submit any scores?

I would submit your scores even as they are. Dickinson’s range according to their website is 27-31, so you would be right in the middle of that range. If you don’t submit the score, I imagine they would just assume you did poorly, which is not the case.
