I’m getting super nervous for decisions… IK this post doesn’t prove anything but I guess I just want to brace myself and take on the “potential rejection letter” early lul.

I am submitting a portfolio for violin & art. I’m just worried that my ECs are way too focused on music and the arts when I’m most likely a bio major.

Your CR + M combined is really good for those top schools despite CR being a bit below average. Composite SAT is below average for some of the top schools but your ACT is well above average. Perfect SAT IIs, rank, GPA, APs. You show great commitment in the ECs, especially the musical field. Volunteer work looks good. I don’t think being focused on the musics would hurt your chances if youre a bio major because I think that’s the whole point of high school: To commit to something DIFFERENT and stick with it if you enjoy it, not to commit to something you know youll like and know youll do good in just because youll pursue it later on in life (although you might like music so much that you may or may not pursue it after your high school career).
