Chance me?? **Will chance back**

Didn’t apply to too many reaches, but here’s the ones I’m worried about:

Villanova (School of Business) (Realized after I should’ve applied arts and sciences)
George Washington
Lafayette
Lehigh

Male
White
PA Public High School that doesn’t send many kids to top schools, Middle Class

GPA (school does weighed out of 100): 97.06, 14/422
SAT: 1350/1600, 710 Reading 640 Math (yea…)
AP Exams: 5s on Euro, Psych, APUSH, Lang and Comp.
Course: All AP/Honors

Extracurriculars:
Captain Speech and Debate (Nat qualifier, State runner up, State quarter finalist)
Captain Swim Team (7 School Records, League Swimmer of the Year)
Captain Mock Trial Team (Best Advocate Award)
Captain Golf Team (District Qualifier)
Swim Coach/Volunteer (Summer)
NHS
Member of League Sportsmanship Council, Created Food Drive, other volunteer stuff with it

Recs:
Pretty Basic. From AP Psych and Lang teachers. Counselor Rec, generic

Supplimental Essays:
Pretty decent, 8-9/10

I’ll chance back. Thanks.

Villanova and GW looks like you have a pretty good shot well within range (i don’t know too much about Villanovas business program though). Lafayette, Lehigh are a little iffy but you definitely still have a chance. I’d suggest applying to a few more reaches since you have a high gpa and decent test scores… worth a shot right? Won’t hurt to apply. Pretty good ec’s but I know it helps a lot to have some athletic activity, some volunteer activity, and some art activity. You got the first two, but is there anything artistic at all you’ve done? Not crucial, but it can make you a little more well rounded (but only if you have a blank spot on the common app activities section, otherwise just make up for it with a creative/unique essay).

I would guess you’d get into all of them, actually. Chance me back, please? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1939905-chance-me.html#latest

congratulations on your accomplishments! i think your chances are pretty good given your solid resume. make sure that you write an essay that will stand out and show a full picture of who you are, and prepare well for any interviews you might have. best wishes! chance me back?
