Sorry for formatting/typos. I'm typing this on my phone!

Thanks!

From my understanding, W&M adcoms view the ACT composite as opposed to individual sections. Your ACT composite score > your SAT superscored because of your low math score.

Good luck! :)

Do you think I have a chance with my sort of low gpa?

Forgot to add that I volunteer at a rescue squad and have been going to night school since june to become an EMT. I take my practical exams in November!

what is your SAT score now? you are in the low range of the average SAT scores. But if you are applying early, you should have a better chance of getting in

I took it again and got 2040 superscore
720 reading
590 math
730 writing

Math is obviously not my forte :/

Do you have any idea where your rank is? I think 80% or so of our incoming classes are ranked in the top 10%, so a good class rank helps.

I’d say you’re pretty likely to get in though, and notifications should come soon! Good luck!

I go to an extremely competitive high school.

I was deferred admission and when I spoke to my admission dean he said it was because of how I compared to my school. So basically class rank.

Not necessarily just grades-based class rank. They specifically say they will look at test scores in context of your HS peers as well to get an idea of expectations, preparation, etc.
