Took 5 AP’s and many honors classes. I’m not a bad student, I just had a lot of personal problems that had to do with my health that impacted my freshman year grades significantly.
In my essay I wrote about hardships with my life and everything I went through high school and what I learnt. (Please tell me if I should change it.)
SAT: 1300 out of 1600
ACT: 27 out of 36
Indian Female//First Generation to go to college in America//17 Years old when I’ll be entering college, unlike most ppl who are either 18 or 19. (Young for my grade, don’t know if that helps me in anyway.)
As far as extracurriculars go:
World Honors Society Member (potentially, I’m not sure if I’m sending this in because we haven’t found out yet, I assume I did not get in anyways.)
Vice President + President of key club: did many things while having these positions including setting up a donation drive for the people who were killed or injured in Haiti, and other causes.
President and chairperson of fundraisers of students against destructive decisions club.
