Chance me WITH SSAT Andover, Milton, Deerfield

Ok so heres the deal. My aunt went to Milton graduated in the class of '04 went on to Harvard. Milton also has great sports nd a great campus so thats on my list. Went to the Andover summer session nd had my interview LOVED THE SCHOOL so thats #1, and Deerfield is just an all rounded school n im having n open house + interview there soon.

Ok I'm in 8th grade, I'm African-American, and I'm really freaking out cuz theres tons of competition for all of these schools but im cooling down because I have faith that I can get in. and so far I have pretty much straight A's but I got 2 B's though.
SSAT
94%-Verbal
93%- Reading
73%- Math :/
87% Overall :| (not the best scores)

Ive also already been accepted to two Catholic Schools but im waiting for BS letters

Ok so heres how it goes

7th grade I was a straight A student across the board with ONE "B" in science which still put me on honor roll for all three trimesters so thats good

8th grade
I am on the Basketball team but we dont have captains or anything so its more or less recreational
I play Baseball,Football,Lacrosse, and Tennis recreational but I might do them in BS
I am on a soccer team I'm a striker same thing wit the captains they dont rlly hv em
I was chosen to be a Lector which is an 8th grade privilege in my school for quote "8th grade students who excel in English and can read and project their voice loudly". A lector is a reader in church(catholic) who says the gospel readings to the members of the church during masses and this year out of 40+ kids only 14 were chosen and I was one of them.
I was selected to be part of the CTY Global Talent search from getting a 99th percentile on the ITBS(Iowa Test of Basic Skills) and I will have to take the SAT to start off the process.
I am yet to take the SSAT and I will take in in December of 2010 this year.
I was the youngest person in my school's history to ever be invited to the LI Catholic Honor Band when I was in 5th grade and I was the youngest person to be invited to the LI Wind Ensemble (which is only meant for 8th graders and good 7th graders) when I was in 6th grade.
I was also part of the NYSSMA ALL-COUNTY Band in 7th Grade which is the best concert band for 7th and 8th graders on Long Island (not opinion based).
I was also chosen to go on a People To People Ambassador Trip in 7th grade as well as this year (China for 7th) (Europe for 8th) and I am still contemplating on whether I should go or not.
I also completed 10 hours of service for 7th grade last year (Which is quite low but I'm aiming higher this year) and I will try and complete up to 50 this year for 8th grade.
Another important thing is that I taught myself how to play the drums, piano, and congas. I also taught myself how to play a little bass guitar.

So thats basically it and if there's anything else I'll be sure to add it. I know I'm not the most "outstanding" applicant but I know I have a chance at 1 or 2 BS's and if you recommend others for me please do so and please chance me.

Cheers

You seem pretty outstanding to me. You’ll have an excellence chance of getting in!

I know a boy who got into Deerfield with much lower SSAT scores, similair grades, he was an good athelete, student council and such. His main ticket in was…he could pay for it. You just never know what geographical location they are looking for. He was “run of the mill good student”

I am a current Andover Student, and I think you have a decent chance of getting in. Andover doesn’t like students that fall behind in one category, they prefer what you would call “well-rounded” students. However depending on if you talked to coaches and how good you are at your sports, they might let that slide.

I think you have a great chance. Your EC’s are pretty good.

Wow you thought yourself how to play instruments?? How did you do it. I guess you’re naturally talented.
I hope you’ll get in. Good Luck

Let me refine what I mean by well rounded. I meant that from what I’ve heard most schools like students that get a high SSAT percentile in everything. You got great scores in Vocab and Reading but I wanted to point out that your 73% in Math might be a factor…
