Chance me with this SAT

<p>Hi. I am an international student taking a gap year. Can you chance me with this low SAT?
I was rejected by the school last year, going to apply EA this year.</p>

<p>SAT: 2020
CR: 560 >> I think I had the bubblling- answers disaster. Because I have checked the consolidated answers and I think I would get at least a 650. Anyways, I'm looking forward to order a score verification - checking scores by hand.</p>

<p>W: 760, 12 essay
Math: 700</p>

<p>I cannot take the test anymore because I am utterly exhausted of it now.</p>

<p>GPA: 8.8/10.0
Class rank: 2
Essay: I think this is my secret weapon</p>

<p>Ecs: Good! with prizes, leadership positions,...
Letters of Recommendations: glowing</p>

<p>The problem is that my family can afford $15,000 per year. So would this stupid SAT score deter me from getting the aids? I am really worried because i think they would not even look at my Writing score.</p>

<p>I wouldn’t count on the score recheck. i would study hard and take it again. Your “secret weapon” would be strong test scores, that is the best way they to compare you to other candidates. it is not “stupid” for them to want to compare candidates in some objective way. Since you have been turned down once and need a lot of aid, an improved essay is unlikely to make a difference. You need something concrete to show that you are a much stronger candidate than they thought the last time around. Dickinson is a need sensitive school for admissions, so high need means you need to be a lot better than their other candidates to get accepted, and even more so if you are international.</p>
