THE PROBLEM (Standardized tests):
2070 combined score SAT I
Still to take ACT, SAT II, and SAT I retake

Bump. Please chance me! I’d appreciate it a lot! :D

Why didn’t you take Subject tests along with the APs/math you took? Didn’t you take the AP exams?

I still need to take subject tests. I’ve taken a few AP tests.
5 English
5 Physics B
4 Biology
4 World History
3 Chemistry

and 4 in Calculus

You’d need a SAT >2200, and preferably >2300, but yes your achievements are pretty strong. Best of luck on the SAT retake.

Try SAT again, but people get in with your score also.

deferred, btw…

Did u end up re-taking?^

Yeah, I did.

2160 SAT I

750 Bio
770 Math II
790 Physics

Damn, those are really good subject test scores…
Do you think it was the SAT that made them defer?
GL with all your applications

I think it’s probably the SAT. I also, Yale is never a school to be considered “safe” for, regardless of your credentials, so who knows. Maybe I just wasn’t in the group of applications they had gotten to by the time they reached their quota? With an 8% acceptance rate, it’s pretty much chance. I guess we’ll see what happens when final decisions come out

If it will make you feel better, you might be able to retake the SAT I and send in the new scores. Schools like to see followup because it shows interest.

good job boosting up your scores :)
