Band- I have played the trumpet for eight/nine years, I have a leadership role within the band, I was named first chair as a junior, I play in my school's jazz band and in another jazz ensemble, I am part of my school's marching band (I play the solos ), I have played trumpet for Church masses and school plays, I am part of a Musical Honors Society at school, I am on the band Senate
I was an election judge for the 2008 presedential election
I was on the swim team my freshman year
I was a member of my school's student council freshman year
I am a member of my school's Classics club- it's for Latin/ Greek students
I peer tutor two students twice a week in Algebra
I had a job as a lifeguard when I was 15
I took a summer class in Honors World History and took Precalculus last summer
I am part of a six month service program at my local Hospital
I am part of an Academic Honors society at school </p>
