Chance me yo.

So I applied to the UW and the honors program, I have attended a California high school for three years, but I moved to Washington for my senior year, qualifying me as a in-state student. That being said, my stats are:

UW GPA:3.86

Although got straight A's my sophomore and junior year. Took 4 AP's my junior year(APUSH, AP Physics, AP Calc AB, and AP Psych.)

Currently enrolled in Running Start, taking a fairly rigorous classes, like chem, econ, etc.

SAT:

Forgot breakdown = 1860
730 math/680 CR/690 writing =2100
forgot breakdown= 1940

EC: Member of MUN program at my high school, won 3 best delegate awards and 8 other awards.
Member of a club on campus for 2 years.
Water polo team my freshman and sophomore year.
Swim team my freshman year.
Track and field my sophomore and junior year.
Was only student chosen from my school to attend Boy's State(mock government program).

Essays: I spent a lot of time on them, but writing has never been my strong area. However, I feel fairly confident in my honors essays.

With my stats alone, am I in good shape so far?

I’d say you’re looking good :)

Your stats are definitely good but the essays are where all the weight is. I am in the honors program and I know many people with better stats than me that got denied. And I am pretty sure it was because of the essays. But if you put a lot of work into it than i am sure you will get in!
