<p>I'm applying to Virginia Tech early decision, and I need to know my chances of getting in early. Here are my stats:</p>

<p>4.04 GPA </p>

<p>Class rank: 59 of 337 = 17%</p>

<p>27 ACT (retaking) </p>

<p>1140 SAT (retaking)</p>

<p>Junior Year:

AP Biology-A

PreCalc-B
Adv. English-A

<p>Senior Year:
AP English Lit
AP Envir. Sci.
AP Chemistry
AP Calc AB
IB History II</p>

<p>(so far I'm doing very well in these classes)</p>

<p>I'm a VA resident</p>

<p>Majoring in either Psych or Biology</p>

Latin Club-Vice President Sophomore year

Wrestled in 9th grade
part of an emerging leaders program
100+ hours of community service</p>

<p>Awards/honors: </p>

<p>Went to VA Boys State
Received the county scholar award for having at least a 4.0 GPA
Nominated for a county citizenship award
selected for an emerging leaders program/class
National Honor Society and Beta member</p>

<p>What are my chances of getting in early???</p>

<p>I would say that if you score a little higher on the SAT, you stand an extremely good chance of getting in. You have a very strong course load and GPA. Just be sure to write a good essay.</p>
