I think that i will get strong letters of recommendation.

4. Chemistry - 4 years

I used a formula for standard deviations that are not similar, and a population that is not normal, but is symmetrical. I also had to account for a couple anomalies.

While I appreciate your work Jason, I don’t really think the real value of an application can be described in a formula. You know that a formula cannot accommodate all the infinite dimensions of an application. Having said that, I am quite interested in how you calculated that.

@ OP:
The best suggestion I can give you is to work on your passion because I believe that’s what Stanford is looking for in its students. They are looking for the best human beings. Your stats are great but what you should realize is that a lot of people will have that; go to Stanford rd decisions class of 2014 and see how many people had ~800 on their SAT IIs, for example. Showcase your passion, show the university that you can do great things in life if you have its resources, and then i’d say you will have a solid chance. That said, please remember that no stranger can accurately predict your chances at stanford.

but chancing as one guy put it is a nice way to blow off steam…

and i realise that the competition is tough… but you do want to find out as much as possible about it… for example i just got to know that a lot of guys over at stanford have perfect sat IIs… :)

Go to this thread post 3. Download the excel program and insert your information in place of what’s there. That’s the best estimator of your admissions chances (on this website, at least).

So I go to Stanford right now and formulas don’t really count. Your grades are already good enough to get in. What you need is character in your essay! Express yourself and show Stanford what you really got and what really drives you. My SAT scores personally were under 2000, but they look at you.

being an Indian too I understand the magnitude of brilliance your application portrays. I would say you are a shoe in only SAT Reasoning could hurt. Also, do some APs in May 11 and mentioned that on your common App. I did mine from Delhi, i from Jaipur :)
