i'm a caucasian female, a junior right now, at a very small, pretty alternative-ish high school
my school doesn't rank, though if it did i'd be first
haven't taken SAT yet, but for PSAT:
-Crit. reading 80
- Math 69
- Writing skills 79
so apparently that translates to about a 2280 on the SAT

i'm in the IB programme, taking hl english, hl spanish, sl french, sl bio, and hl math (though i'm also planning to take the ap history, ap calc ab, and ap spanish literature exams)
i'm writing my ee in spanish on fair trade coffee and its potential for social justice in central america, if that matters
my gpa, unweighted, is about 95-96/ 100, or i guess around 3.9

i placed in a couple of writing competitions, but that was middle school so i don't think it counts for anything
i've won a large number of awards for academic excellence within my school, but i'm not sure that counts for anything either

extra curriculars:
- president of nhs
- student council grade level rep for 2 years
- student ambassador at my school for 3 years
- plays and musicals since 6th grade, several leads
- chorus since i don't even remember when, like 2nd grade
- part of an a capella group at my school
- varsity pom team for 2 years

i've done volunteer work but not consistently for one organization-- mostly its been incorporated into my work for other stuff-- nhs, ambassadors, student council
oh, and my grandfather went to princeton, although doesn't a legacy or something only work for parents?
anyway, i know it's probably a long shot but do i have any chance at all of getting in to princeton or another ivy?
