Do you think I have a chance?

I think you have a decent chance. Your ECs are amazing but to be honest, your test scores and class rank are a bit low for Penn. I think your chances of getting in also depend on what school you’re applying to; Wharton may be a reach but you have a good chance of getting into CAS.

definitely not Wharton haha I’m not THAT smart. I applied to CAS, thinking of majoring in either spanish or international relations

Don’t worry about your test scores and GPA. Honestly that won’t get you in or keep you out. But you are in range… So don’t worry about them anyway!

Something screams grade inflation to me…
How competitive is your high school? Do students from your school generally go to Penn caliber universities?

question, are you from guilderland high school?

nope. your scores on standardized testing are consistently low.

I know it looks weird… our school does ranking based on weighted gpas, 4.0 is my unweighted. our class is extremely competitive and our ranking/gpa system is really annoying. The high school is restructuring the system the year after next - of course it couldn’t be any earlier to help us.
