Hey, I'm in really bad shape guys. My GPA is very low. I'm a junior now and I have a GPA of 2.36 right now. All average CP classes. I should be able to get it up to a 2.7 this year. My SAT score is 1700/2400. I plan on doing volunteer work over the summer. Probably around 60 hours. I also play tennis. That's it for ec's. Also, my class rank is not good. I am ranked 200/300. What colleges can I get into with these stats??

I am hoping I can get into:

William Paterson University
Montclair State University
Monmouth University
Seton Hall University

These are probably reaches:
Drexel University
UCONN
Rutgers
Ramapo

Um your gpa going to hurt u pretty badly especially sincenyoyndidny take any honors or Ap classes. Your rank might also hurt you since your in bottom 50%. I assume you are from nj so hopefully your schools is very rigorous n known by admissions.
Chance provided you get at least a 2.7
William Paterson University-high match
Montclair State University-low reach
Monmouth University-high match
Seton Hall University-high match
Drexel- mid reach
UCONN- mid/High reach
Rutgers-mid reach if your instate otherwise high reach
Ramapo- low reach

You have another half a year to bring up that GPA. Try to get as close to 3.0 as you can. As far as AP - you can take one or two in your senior year - admission like to see you not slacking off your last year. I would also recommend taking SATs again. You have a good chance at WP, Seton Hall, Ramapo & Montclair. Rutgers only Newark and Camden, NB is a reach. Drexel not likely with your GPA, they like to see closer to 2.7. UConn not likely. You can also try Richard Stockton. Good luck!
