GPA: 3.92 but the B's on my transcript were from freshman year and one B+ junior year... this also does not include 1st semester of senior year which is going really well
ACT: 33 Superscore (which they do): 34
SAT II Math II: 760 Chem: 750 (i don't think they require this though)
APs: APUSH (5) Psychology (5) Physics, Bio, Spanish, Calc BC (taking these 4 this year)
Extra carriculars: Orchestra, Model UN, Mock trial team, Key club, volunteer work, work for a catering business,
I lived in Israel for 8 years, I speak Hebrew and English
Hmmm.. I don't know what else to put. Oh! My mom went to U of Chicago.
Also, my essay was about if i could dissolve anything what would it be. I wrote about dissolving our perceptions of time-- like past and present, because it forces us to think that what has happened in the past, what we once had, happiness, good times, etc. are forever lost which can become a really haunting thought. Rather we should celebrate these memories even if they are irretrievable and recognize the role they still play in our lives.... i included an anecdote to illustrate this otherwise this would be a very. very. dry essay.</p>
<p>Admitted student EA. Don’t worry about your GPA: I had a 3.92 too (though all of my B’s were from freshman year). Stats are enough to get you seriously considered. It’ll come down to the essays.</p>
