Very good chances.
Only thing that may be missing is your EC relating to the college you want to get into.
As one of the previous posters said, Cornell is hard to get into because you have to have a good reason to be in the college - your push.

England this was discussed in another thread. ED definitely provides some sort of a boost no matter how small it may be depending on which school.

About chances, ED can be very rewarding for you. You should improve your class rank though… a lot, especially since you are disadvantaged by race.

Rank and the two C’s can hurt. Definitely retake SAT I. Make your essays stellar speaking to your academic, professional and life goals and supporting everything you write with what you did in ECs and/or classes.

@Antiflamer It’s hard to improve that class rank considering the top 10% of my school has 4.0 unweighted and around 4.69 weighted. It’s extremely competitive and I hope that doesn’t hurt my chances…

@rkay123 Yeah, I’m planning to retake the SAT I in May. Hopefully I’ll do better. Thanks for the essay input!

And thanks to everyone in general about the ED thing. I sure hope most of the admits in ED aren’t legacies or sport stars…

They are, but generally the ED pool is relatively weak so you can easily stand out if you have good stats.

@Antiflamer: I take offense to that don’t be a snob

I saw what type of competition i had so I EDed and it worked for me. I speak the truth.
