talent shows*

Not having an EC’s will probably hurt your chances. Your grades are good, but to enhance your application… answer these questions:

What kind of person do I want to show the AOs mainly (community service, athletic, artsy, etc.)?

What can I improve on to show the AOs this person?

Am I “well-rounded”, but focused and passionate?

What are my accomplishments in the past 2-3 years that show my strength in (blank)?

What are my main accomplishments that I am proud of from the past 2-3 years?

What is this school looking for? Read the mission statement to give you some clues

Hope this gets you started somewhere. I do not attend boarding school, but have done lots of research and have heard alot of these points being mentioned on these boards relation to essays. Good Luck!

From what you’ve said… well, let us just say that you really have to work on your application in 8th grade/the rest of 7th grade. Try finding a special talent or more EC’s.
