Chance ME!

Ok here's a brief unique thing about me, it's probably bad. I transferred high schools in the middle of my junior year (currently) to a private christian high school with only 56 kids in the graduating class. The grading at the new private school is much harder and uses a more college oriented GPA scale (4.0=93+, 3.7=90-93, etc.) My old high school, which was public, used 4.0=90+, 3.0=80+, etc. What are colleges going to think of that? will they take into consideration my private school is much harder grade wise?

Also, since I transferred mid-junior year, will colleges see both high school transcripts?

relax, you have a great application we have some similar stats gradewise (my school also does out of 5, but the rest of your application is amazing. Im sure if u get to 2000 your almost a guarantee at a number of those places. The rigor of your classes is impressive. Is your school a good school?

Thank you for your input!
Yes, my school is considered fairly competitive. I don’t know if that’s the answer you are looking for when you ask if my school is a good school.

anyone else?

Work on improving the grades and the test scores. The current AP scores are nice and your course load is rigorous. Community service, sports, and subject test scores are great.
Overall, I think you will be in good standing for the schools listed. Application is very nice and National Merit always looks fantastic.

Good luck to you, chance back if you can!

can someone do the reach/match thing for the schools I listed? thanks!
