<p>I'm currently a high school junior at a small public high school.
Our school does not rank or weight GPA's, and we have a very limited amount of AP classes.</p>

<p>I'm looking at many colleges, but my top choices are UPenn, Stanford, Duke, NW, UChicago, and Cornell. (Don't really think I have much of a chance at the likes of HYP XD)</p>

<p>TESTS::
GPA: 3.8-3.9
SAT Superscored (took twice) -- 2300
PSAT: 216
Taking the ACTs in June
SAT Subject II - Bio (750)
Math 1 (790)
Chem (730- retaking in June)
Math 2 (taking in June)</p>

<p>CLASSES:
All classes honors except for AP classes, obviously, and one history class in freshman year
AP-- European History (10) -- 5 on AP Exam
Chemistry (11)
English Lang & Comp (11)
US History (11)
(Requested AP Calc AB (we don't have BC), Spanish, Computer Science, Physics, English Literature, and Government for senior year)</p>

Math Team - one of two selected to go onto state level competition (top 50 in area)

PIA- international association that involves community service and a stipend at the end to be an "ambassador" to another country
First chair Flute/Piccolo (main piccolo)
Only band member invited to play with professional pit orchestra for school play
Vice President of TAB Library Program- ran scavenger hunt and taught computer skills to the elderly
YMCA Youth and Government
ECHO Member- Community service club at school
Link Crew- upperclassmen outreach program for incoming freshmen</p>

<p>Summer Activities::
After 9th:
2 week course at Brown University on Neuroscience
1 month in Taiwan taking Chinese reinforcement classes</p>

<p>After 10th:
4 weeks in Chile (amazing experience!) through PIA (see EC's)-- homestay, travel, comm. service
3 week course at Brown University on Organics and Biochem</p>

<p>After 11th:
4 weeks in Taiwan through AID Summer teaching English to elementary students in rural areas of Taiwan (sooo excited for this trip- all expenses paid, only 300 students got picked out of about 1,000+ applicants!)</p>

<p>Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese</p>

<p>Stanford is up there with “HYP.” Therefore, it is a reach.</p>
