<p>can i get into UVA with these stats? </p>
<p>My GPA: 3.4 (freshman 3.2, sophomore 3.5, junior 3.8)........ 
 My SAT: N/A (did not take it yet, but will be about around 2150-2250 with a higher writing score and a slightly lower math score, relatively)
top 10% of class in a large 2500+ very competitive HS</p>
<p>EC's: Student Council President (for senior year), Student Council Executive Board Videographer (junior year), Class Council President (sophomore year), Class Council Treasurer (freshman year), Freshman Soccer, JV Soccer (sophomore year), National Honor Society, Symphonic Band 1st chair (3 years), staffer for school newspaper</p>
<p>note: I currently live in New Jersey, multi racial (half pakistani, half filipino), and upper middle class</p>

              <p>Based on what I’ve read (I am not a current UVA student, rather a hopeful like yourself) I would say it’s a reach. I believe this because your GPA is on the low side, it seems like almost every UVA student had at least a 3.5+. You have solid EC’s they are not all over the place but rather concentrated into different interest (leadership and music). If you don’t get the high SAT score like you expect you will I would have to say UVA is a definite long-reach (please keep in mind I’am not a UVA student this is simply based on observations). Highlighting your race in your essays (a euphemism for “pulling the race card”) would probably increase your chances of acceptance.
