Chance me!

Hello,
I am currently a rising Sophomore in UIUC majoring in civil engineering. I am looking for opportunities to transfer to another insitution to study industrial engineering (since this major kinda sucks here). But I am not sure about the chances.

Here are my stats:
HS GPA:3.8/4.0
SAT:around 2050(will retake in June)
College GPA: 3.3 last semester, maybe 3.7-3.8 this semester
Two research positions in the department of civil engineering
Recs from a research assistant professor in my department and possibly a rec from associate prof in the Environmental science dept.
An internship at Dupont this summer
ECs:Corporate Chair for Publicity committee in Engineering Council, TA for an intro engineering class, Company correspondent for campus career fair

Apply for: Cornell Northwestern UMich UC-Berkeley Rice(Computational and Applied Mathematics) Gatech

What are the chances that I can get accepted to those schools?

Thanks very much!

Retaking the SAT as a college student is totally worthless, IMO. The SAT is designed to predict performance in college - you will be judged much more on your performance in actual college classes.

Do you have financial need? Transfer students generally don’t get the same aid opportunities as incoming freshmen.

Thanks for the reply. I will take SAT anyways since I applied for it…I don’t have any financial needs. And FYI i m in the international pool.

bump…any possible advice?
