<p>You’re right … if they come across w/ some assistantship $$ it could be one of the bargains of the century! Do they? I’ve no idea, but my observation is that Vandy-type places are able to attract folks who deem it of sufficient educational value relative to their own monetary value. Harvard’s ed school does same …gets top $$ for education programs, nearly always paid for by another institution providing a bennie to one of their own who needs a Harvard component to the pedigree to boost his/her professional opp. So can you share? Was it worth it? Why? Can you specify? </p>
