Chance me

I have a 3.8 unweighted gpa, 1800 on SAT 1220/1600 (taking it again in October) and a 28 on the ACT

I'm planning on applying early action

I've been in honors classes and am in AP calc, AP stat and AP econ this coming year
I'm planning on majoring in business

I run track every spring (not looking to go here for track though) , and am going to be an Eagle scout by the end of summer
I have hundreds of hours of service thanks to scouts and my eagle project alone will be easily 150+ hours

I go to a private school in Mass. and am in NHS and spanish NHS and have received awards for spanish

And I have constantly moved up in class levels since freshman year

Do you think I have a good chance to get in???

Thank you

Your SAT scores are below average for Villanova…Eagle scout thing will look really good, and you have a good amount of service hours…make sure you emphasize interests in your application and take the most rigorous and demanding courses available to you and you will stand a good chance… With the information you provided right now, I would say Villanova is match/slight reach.

I agree, your SAT and ACT scores are a bit low for Nova. Take them again and hope for at least a 1300/1600 or a 30; that will make you a match for Nova, but right now it is a slight reach.

I had a 3.8 unweighted GPA and a 29 ACT. Got in early action, but decided to go to another school. Raise your ACT up a couple points, show you’re interested, and you’re in.
