Just to let you know UCLA doesn’t have a business major. We have a business-economics major which from what I’ve heard is more econ than business.

As for your scores, I don’t think any confirmation here would tell you anything. Keep working hard and apply! In my humble opinion, you’d stand a good chance though it depends on other things like which classes you took, etc. It’s good that you’re retaking Math II and your ACT score could be improved too IMO

I’d say you’re a match.

retake Sat Math, get into the 700 range. Everything else seems pretty good.

Does UCLA even require sat subject tests anymore? I know that Berkeley doesn’t anymore, so I’m thinking it should be the same with other UC schools?

none of the UCs require sat subject tests anymore. However, UCLA, recommended it (so do other UCs, especially top tier ones). And for engineering might require math II? You can check by researching it on ucla websites. Their information is definitely more reliable.

ucla doesn’t require them but a higher score always looks better than no score. i agree, retake sat math and get it into 700’s. calculate uc gpa, thats probably most important. EC’s are definitely good. if you think you can raise your ACT by even a point, you should go for it. Just try to get the best app you can in. But if nothing changed from here, i’d say ucla is a match for you.

Welcome to the class of 2016.

UC GPA is 4.6, and thanks for the comments guys!
