I know these chance-ings probably mean nothing, but I'm getting really anxious to apply to Penn. I know ivy leagues are a stretch even with good stats. I don't want to get my hopes up if I really don't stand a chance at all.

Applying ED for Digital Media Design program (Arts and sciences/engineering)

Rank: Top 5%
SAT I: First time 620M/620CR/670W (1910) Second time 700M/730CR/720W (2150)
ACT: 29 composite (did well in everything except reading; will retake for a 30+)
SAT II: 700 USH, 700 Math IIC; will retake both for 750+ and take physics for first time
APs: junior year: US Hist senior year: Chem, studio art, government, french v, calc ab

ECs: Marching band (assistant drum major, first chair clarinet) (9-12), wind ensemble (1st/2nd chair) (9-12), set design (11-12) , art club (11-12), french club (9-12), french honors society (11-12), national honors society (11-12), drama club (9), community service group (president/creator)

Essays: Good. I think my common app essay is fairly creative. It will be proofread by many people to ensure quality.
Interview: will probably be average or worse (I'm very shy). I will practice this a lot in case I do have to interview.
Portfolio: Okay. <-- even if my portfolio is not outstanding, do I still have a shot simply because I have one? I don't know whether people doing digital media design need a good portfolio/have one at all. Would simply showing I have artistic talent be a good thing, or do many people applying to Penn for fine arts or DMD have good portfolios? <--sorry if I worded that really weirdly btw.

Thank you in advance :D Even if you don't think you can give me an accurate chance I'd love for you to answer the questions I have about applying.

I'll restate them in case you don't want to read the big mass of text above lol:
Does being hispanic influence my admission chance significantly? ( I should add that I am not under privileged or anything. Both my parents were born in Cuba, but I've lived a comfortable middle class life in the US)
Does simply having a portfolio (it will be 'good' but not 'outstanding') help my chances to get into Penn for DMD?

If you have any advice I'd be really grateful!

Thank you again!
