SAT: 1820 (taking SAT prep courses and most recent test score is 2000 hoping to reach 2100)
SAT2: Planning on taking Math II and Korean
APs: none but received a 3 on the Calc AB exam junior year
IBs: Full IB Diploma.
Junior year schedule: IB English 11, IB Chemistry SL, IB Biology HL, IB History of the Americas, Marching/Symphonic Band, IB Calculus, Spanish 300
Senior year schedule: IB English 12, IB Biology HL, IB History, Marching/Symphonic Band, IB HL Math, Spanish 400
GPA: 3.7 UW

Lieutenant Governor for Key Club, Band 6-12th grade playing flute, oboe and trumpet, National Honor Society, Junior/Senior Class Vice President, A lot of community service, tutoring, Kumon, Piano, Piano playing for church, XC Freshman/Junior years Varsity/JV, volunteer in Korea during the summer teaching English</p>

<p>Thank you! It would be great if you let me know of other schools I should think of applying to and have an okay chance at! (I am not planning on applying to Washington state schools other than UW).</p>

<p>I think you should get accepted.</p>

<p>Are you in-state? I think right now being Out of state would probably be an advantage but even if you’re in-state, I think you’d have a decent shot.</p>

<p>I don’t think anywhere in Washington are there IBs. You’re pretty good. I heard IBs are tough so with that many you should be able to get in if you increase your SAT score to a safe “auto in” amount</p>

<p>I actually know of at least 3 schools in the greater Seattle area that have IBs. I am definitely trying to increase my chances and I am in-state!</p>

<p>Just to clarify, there are IB programs in Washington.</p>

<p>The only advice I can give you is to write amazing personal and cultural essays. They’re a huge component of your application so it would be advantageous for you to spend your time wisely when writing them.</p>

<p>Other than that I think you have a pretty good chance of getting in.</p>
