SCS student weighing in: Your stats seem pretty similar to mine when I applied (also did AP/EA, had low HS GPA with an upward trend), except that you are female, which gives yet another boost when applying to SCS. Having taken CMU classes and done well is a good sign. A B in 18-100 is a strong sign that you can do coursework at the CMU level.

SCS is very competitive, obviously, so it’s impossible to say that you’ll 100% be accepted, but you should be confident that you are among the better applicants in the pool.

Aww thanks  Yea i have to say i’m pretty proud to get a B in 18-100, especially without the curve ^-^; I’m just worried the B in 15-100 will hurt me

Also, should I put the grades into my GPA in high school? It’ll bring down my uw so I’m not too sure whether it’s a good idea or not

Your resume looks pretty on par with other applicants to CMU and may be a bit higher than the average applicant. As tyralis said being a female will help you out as well. Your SAT is solid and your SAT II’s are terrific for CMU, so SCS is a great option for you. Chance me back please
