FYI…people on CC can say you have a chance or don’t have a chance, and you might get in and you might be denied.

Apply to colleges you REALLY want to go to, not just ones you think you aren’t wasting your money on. I’ve heard of students with better stats than yours being admitted and others who were rejected. This forum is not filled with admission officers. Good luck.

7 SAT IIs? And 11 APs? That’s got to be close to some kind of record. Is this surprising to you kids or is this what the game has come to in 2011?

well I will have 11 APs as well, not that many sat IIs but yes this has what the game has come to

DS got into Penn and Berkeley…only took 2 SAT IIs. So it’s not what the “game” has come to, it’s what the players are trying to do to play the “game”. And stressing themselves out.

It’s the rigor of the program that counts…did you push yourself at your school? And your essays also play a big part. It’s not all about how well you take a test and how many you take.

Good luck!

why the quotations?

I’d say you have a pretty strong application and that you should apply. Although the 2s on some of those APs are really pretty big stains. With you having so many of them though, I don’t really know if it’s a problem at all.
