I just want to clarify something first: Are you saying that, as a current junior, you have already taken 10 honors classes, more APs than most top applicants, the equivalent of nearly two full IB diplomas (full diploma is 6 classes + ToK), in addition to 4 college level courses? It just seems a little bit off to me.

If you have indeed done all of this, in addition to the significant ECs you mentioned, then you have an amazing shot at Duke - or any other university in the world.

maybe i should have clarified. I am a junior and if i keep up the grades that i have now, i will have that GPA, and my schedule is already set, so i know how many of each class i will be taking/am taking. Also, i am going to stay in the same clubs and hold the same leadership positions.

But you posted scores for AP’s you haven’t taken yet. If you are like my son (also a new Jr.) you have only taken AP World. Which you have listed as a 2. Which doesn’t even qualify for college credit.

I’m just going to assume all of this is not a lie, despite the fact that it doesn’t make sense at all…

First of all:

You did some MAJOR resume padding, didn’t you? Most of your EC’s are “11, 12”. >.>

Anyway, I’d say decent shot, IF this is all true and if you don’t submit your AP scores.
